This is still under investigation because there is no apparent ignition source. I was involved with the investigation because I know the homeowner, I am a General Contractor with experience in fire damaged structures,  I have firearms and ammunition knowledge. I also will help in the recovery and inventory of all firearms, parts and accessories lost to this fire.

Out of the rubble, here are some images.

We are working on getting the Saiga 12 conversion info up on the website so we can start taking orders for these. I will include a list of possible parts to be used and where to get them if I do not have them in stock. I have had success in getting these to work with the cheap ammo low brass stuff! Details to follow... I hope to sell complete shotguns in the future. Check out the Gallery for a few pics of the SBS versions.

OK,

Business as usual... I must stress though, PLEASE fill out your work orders completely and acurately as this is the cross reference/receipt for everything that comes into the shop and what gets shipped out. We do not want any worries on figuring out what your kit/build and where it is being shipped back to... Thank you,  Mario @ POHF

Everyone,

I received the work order/quotes for the past two weeks. I have been out of town until 7-27 and ATF showed up for a compliance check today! So I will get these out this week sometime. Thank you, Mario @ POHF

First off, I appreciate all that have been doing business and inquiring about having projects done by Piece of History!

As we are trying to get the process running more smoothly and efficiently (so I spend less time sorting through requests) which means I will be working on your projects that much quicker,

Please SUBMIT a WORK ORDER/QUOTE for pricing and estimates.

I find it too time consuming to sort through emails that detail multiple requests or projects that do not come to the shop complete. We can always update your work order for the project at hand, I will put the quote on (upper right hand corner of worksheet) and send it back to you.

Print this out and send it in with payment or CC info and your project to get the process going. Also, as for leadtimes, these are hard to predict because everything coming into the shop is different so I try to keep it anywhere from +/- 6 to 12 weeks depending on the circumstances.

Finally, Piece of History will not sacrifice quality and workmanship to get your project back to you sooner, every build and work that requires function testing WILL be test fired before it ships out.  Thank you, Mario @ POHF

To my loyal customers and clients.

A new situation arised just the other day.  A new customer requested a price quote for work on three different weapons.  However, he did it on ONE work order.  I am happy to provide price quotes, however, in that case, I would need three different work order requests for each weapon.

So if you know you are going to be submitting work for a number of weapons, I will need separate work orders for each one.  This helps me track each one.  Each time a work order is submitted, the website generates a ticket number that helps me track them.  I do them one at a time so that there is never any question as to what I am quoting or working on.

When in doubt, submit a work order and select the option for Price Quote Only.

NO OBLIGATION! Just because you submit a work order/Price quote, you are not obligated in anway until I call you and payment arrangements are made from me to you.  I never start work until you know how much it will be and how the work will be paid.

You do not have to put payment information on the work orders unless you want me to start the work.  Again, I will not start until you know how much it will be and you understand the payment arrangements.

ENGRAVING - I can do any kind of engraving.  Please do not assume that I cannot do a certain kind just because it is not listed on the work order.  I can do it all!  If for some reason I cannot...You will be the first to know and we will make other arrangements.

That is it for now, until I think of anything else.  Thanks again to all my loyal and trusted customers...
